About Me

I'm Lubov Leonova, a fiction writer with 5 published books and 3 more coming in 2026.
​
My creative journey officially started in 2018. Back then, my good friend advised me to stop torturing myself with endless re-writing attempts for my fiction story and get a writing class to learn how to put it all together.
​
I joined my first creative writing class, and it made a huge difference. I finally learned the storytelling techniques and structure. With newly acquired clarity, I was able to finish my first draft within a few months. Then, after another year of polishing and working with amazing publishing team, my debut novel was released.
​
Was it a success? Not really. After another year of learning how to market my fiction book, I was broken and had burnouts that led me to a heart failure and long recovery.
​
I couldn't stop asking myself - was it really worth it? Fine, maybe financial benefit never was meant to happen. But what about my health? What about friends and family that I ditched when I worked until late at night, putting my book together? The more I thought of it, the more anxious I got. And as a person who love solving problems creatively, I started working with different coaches who helped small creators like me.
​
It took me a while, but eventually, I learned that there are more to storytelling than simply put a book together. And yes, it might be hard to believe, but writing my story was the easiest part. Being a storyteller means being wise about my resources, which includes my time, money, and energy. It's a whole art of creative balance that I had to master to keep writing, publishing, and marketing my books while living my busy life and being a wife, a friend, and a mom.

In 2024, I released my second fiction series, and I started seeing my first stable income. And in 2025, something incredible happened - the first generation who read my first books back in 2021, became adults, and I started receiving feedback from them. I discovered that those young women who once were teenagers, struggling to navigate this fast-pacing reality, got inspired by my first story. The story was about a dreamer who didn't give up on herself and eventually sparked a feminist movement that eventually reshaped the whole realm. The book was meant for teens, but it let its readers not to give up on their own dreams and instead pursue them.
​
Today, when I receive so many letters from y readers, it can't cease to amaze my how powerful storytelling is. And it can't stop bugging me how many talented writers are giving up these days, unable to handle the pressure and competition. That's why I decided to step into the role of a creative coach and share my experience to help fiction writers master the art of being a storyteller.
​
In 2026, I started teaching creative balance. And for now, I do it through sharing the short, 3-minute stories on my social media channels. Besides, I launched Nova AI on my Instagram page. It's a free tool that can help small creators like you eliminate the noise on social media and help you structure your marketing.
​
